The London Pass

Ok so, London is an expensive city. There's no doubting that. Here's a few prices for amusements and touristy things - per person. And remember to convert backwards, at a rate of about 1:1.6...

  • Tower of London - £17
  • Tower Bridge (walking across the top!) £7
  • London Zoo - £16,50
  • Westminster Abbey £15
  • River Cruise - £11.50
  • shakespeare's Globe theatre - £10.50
The list goes on and on, places and things you can see and do. Some of these things, we did. Others, we didn't do. However - we opted to buy a London Pass - a 3-day pass cost us £108 for both of us. Over the course of the past 3 days, we have visited:

Tower of London , Tower Bridge, London Bridge Experience and Tombs, London Zoo, River Cruise, HMS Belfast, gone Bowling, seen Shakespeare's Globe, the backstage tour at the National Theatre, and probably more things that have escaped my very tired mind right now. If we'd paid door prices, it would have cost us over £190. Probably more.
And all of this excludes the places where we can now wave the card and get discounts, and 2-for-1 dinners and stuff.

So, if you ever come to London for Siteseeing, I would definitely, definitely, recommend the london pass.
