So while Rhiannon is off at work, making money so we can eat and all that, i'm sitting at home being a little house wife husband in between hunting for jobs.
I got a little bored today, and decided to create a video of our little unit/apartment/flat/studio/whatever – so you can see what $AUD290 a week gets you in north west London.
To be fair, at the High Road, or within 4 minutes walk, we do have a Sainsburys, a library, several pubs, and countless other variant stores, including fried chicken places, a pizza hut, a couple of chinese places, a polish convenience store, and all sorts of other things. There's even a car dealership.
We're only about 20 minutes from Piccadilly Circus on the Jubilee line, so all in all, it's not too bad. It is kind of depressing though, to realise that the entire flat is smaller than our living room was in Melbourne.
It's definitely hardcore but if anything, it will only make us stronger :)
