So, we're going to Jersey. Jersey is one of the channel islands, much closer to France than England, but an English protectorate, or something like that... anyways, we don't need visas, or passports, as there is no passport control.
It's kind of like the way people in Australia would go to Fiji, or Bali, places like that.. little islands, detached and remote. Jet Skiing, Kite surfing, water skiiing, fast-boat rides, ancient castles, water park with a surf-wave machine, a maze-place, historic war tunnels, and lots of other awesome things to do.
I'm looking at a hotel called the Merton - as you can see in the pretty
picture, it has a fantastic looking leisure area. Yes, we know it's still basically winter. The flow-rider thinggy sounds cool though. We get over there either by plane, or boat. And you can go fast-boat, or normal boat. (3 hours vs 10 hours.) Stay tuned, and we'll have some more once we've booked, and when we get back.
