We actually had time to fit in a bit more today...

... before Jameson's we went to the National Museum.

This was free, as everything in Dublin that starts with 'national' is. It was pretty cool, especially the first part with the masses of dead animals. There was a 'giant deer' skeleton standing, almost guarding the doorway, when we first went in. Most massive antlers I have ever seen! And they apparently re-grow them ever year. I was impressed when I thought it was over their lifetime. Just... WOW!

...after Jameson's we decided to continue with our drinking and headed across the river into Temple Bar (a very touristy area, but also where all the nightlife is.. also... VERY EXPENSIVE) and see what we could find. We were actually intending to just sit in a pub, have a few drinks and listen to some traditional Irish music (which I love), but then we saw a sign for a comedy night. We both love comedy nights and oddly, just yesterday I had just been talking about wanting to go to another. It was at the top of a pub 'Ha-penny bridge inn', I think it was called and it said 'Capital Comedy Club'. It's on every Wednesday and Sunday nights. We felt very fortunate that we happened to stumble upon it on the correct night :) The show itself was actually quite cheap, only 7 euros each and it was excellent, especially the headliner (whose name I can't remember). The drinks on the other hand were not cheap (almost 6 euros for a pint of Bulmers!), this is normal around here, though.
